    I want to suggest something regarding child account


    Hi, I just set family account with age restrictions and I noticed some things that annoyed me. My child account can see all my games (private library and game pass) which is problematic. The child can’t play it because of restrictions I added, but he can uninstall my games... I suggest that the parent account will be able to decide which games can be seen in child account (maybe by hiding it or not share it).

    Can’t understand why my 9 years old kid need to see my Call of duty game tile without never being able to play it. (This is relevant also to apps).

    All the ‘share all or nothing’ is too much and need to be more flexible. What do you think?

    I'm Nilay and I'll be glad to answer your query today.

    You can change the birthdate of a child account:

    1. Using the parent's Microsoft account, sign in to your account on https://family.microsoft.com.

    2. At the bottom of the Your Family page, select Manage my child's profile info.

    3. In the Manage permissions page of the child's account that you want to change, at the right, select Edit this child's personal info and then follow the instructions.

    Yes, I suggest to create your own account that will serve as organizer and add him as a child because the game progress is something that we can't transfer.
