You would want to try going through here - https://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/microsoft-account/forgot-microsoft-account-solution to see if
you can recover the email and then you would need to reset the password.

Hello ! So basically I have the same problem and I’m trying to recover my old account and the number in my old account is wrong so basically I pressed the button (I don’t have any of these) and I tried to answer all the questions, but my device is blocked and I cannot login into my old account, but the problem that my email with this old account is working but say there is no option that I can recover my password from the mail that I’m using it on my old account so yeah basically I want to recover my old account but I cannot because the number there I s wrong and I really need to recover my account and again my email which is the old account. Like I’m trying to recover my old Microsoft account on my email, but there is no recover button or like a reset the password from the mail

Do you remember the password for the Hotmail account?

if so it is still a good email it would be the same password that you would use say if you were trying to sign into the account on your xbox console.

to check the Hotmail email you would go to outlook.com and sign in with the Hotmail email and password associated with that account.

if you do not remember the password you can try and recover the Hotmail account at account.live.com/acsr

then you can sign into the account at account.live.com/addassocid and change the email address associated with that Microsoft account.

Now to answer your question NO you can not transfer purchases made on one account to another account.

but you can recover your old account and change the email used for signing into that account. by following the directions above

Unfortunately, the gamertag alone can’t be used to recover your Microsoft account directly, but here’s what you can try to regain access:

Go to https://account.live.com/username/recover

Enter the email or phone number you think might be linked (try all you can remember)

If you don’t remember any email, click “I don’t have any of these” and follow the steps to recover your account by filling out the recovery form with as much info as possible (dates of account creation, billing info, gamertag, Xbox device IDs if any)

You can also check your other emails for any old messages from Microsoft or Minecraft that might help you identify the right email

If that doesn’t work, your best bet is to create a new Microsoft account and Minecraft account. I know that’s frustrating, but without the linked email or password, recovery is really limited.

If you bought Minecraft on that lost account, you won’t be able to transfer the license or game to a new account, sadly.
