I want to purchase the game pass for 9.99 for three months on the Xbox game menu but it doesn't work for me, as soon as I log in it changes to 9.99 per month subscribe only.

Can't play anything from XBox Music pass on WP8/Windows 8 devices

I'm paying $9.99 for this?

So I was on a trial for the month and paid $9.99 for the XBox Music service. Now, any song downloaded through the trial gives me "Can't play: This item is no longer available, or is available only for purchase and can't be downloaded using an XBox Music
Pass. Error: 0xc1010029.

I read another post saying to delete the album and redownload but that doesn't work; same errors. Same on my Lumia 920 as well. And what's even more humorous is that Zune on my Windows 7 machine works fine.

MS, this is ridiculous, Do you REALLY want people to leave this service and move to Spotify, because frankly, I've had it supporting you, Windows 8 and XBox Music Pass.

I hope someone can help, because this is really frustrating me, to the point that I want my $9.99 back.

On the Subject of the 3 month game pass. I took the deal for 3 months for 9.99 for games pass. I never had it before now. And yet the charging me for 1 month pass for 9.99. I got this feeling I being rip off here. Been a member with Xbox for the
pass 9 years! I got my Xbox one back in 2017 around July. Never used the game pass then. So tell me why I am not getting it for 3 months?

Unfortunately, yes. We can only purchase one month of Game Pass Ultimate from the Store page. If you want to have three months of Game Pass Ultimate, I recommend purchasing two one-month Xbox Live Gold subscriptions and then purchasing one month of Game Pass Ultimate, so you'll get a total of three months of Game Pass Ultimate.

It depends on what the person playing is needing. Both subscriptions do different things.

Gold is required in or to play games online and access gold discounts/Games with Gold.

Game Pass is like Netflix for games. You get access to a library of games you can play without having to purchase each game. Gold is still required to play any of those games online.

So if the person who does play owns the games they want to play and just wants to play online, they really only need Gold. If they want the library of games, they would need Game Pass. If they want both, they would need both.

There is also Game Pass Ultimate which includes Gold, Game Pass for Xbox, and Game Pass for PC which is cheaper per month than purchasing Gold and Game Pass separately. 1 month of Gold is $9.99 + 1 month of Game Pass is $9.99 =$20 versus $14.99 per month
for Ultimate.

I found a work around for purchasing the 3 months of game pass for $9.99. If your game pass membership is set to expire soon, cancel your subscription and also cancel your recurring payments. I had to do all of this from Microsoft support cause it wouldn't
let me do it myself which is ridiculous. Anyways after I canceled my game pass subscription and my recurring payments it allowed me to purchase the 3 months for $9.99. Hope this helps all of the existing members of game pass that Microsoft doesn't give these
benefits to.
