Unfortunately, split screen mode in Fortnite requires two controllers to be connected to the console. It is not possible to play split screen with a combination of a controller and a mouse & keyboard. You will need to have two controllers to play split screen mode in Fortnite.

Works only for player 1 to be keyboard and mouse

1. turn on Xbox directly, make sure your controller isn't on

2. sign into Xbox with your keyboard and go to a minecraft world

3. turn on the controller and sign into a different account

I have it but never tried two player split screen. I only have one XBOX1 controller so I cant test it. Haven't played it in a while to see if there is a option for two player split screen. Wouldn't it mention it in the game store?

To play two player split screen you will need an HDTV, simply turn a second controller and sign in, upon signing in, hit the start button and the second controller will be able to play split screen minecraft with you
