I see. Please try to click on Pay past due on https://account.microsoft.com/services. That should refresh the status of your subscription. If the payment was successful from your bank already, it won't take another payment.

No. You would have to either add money to the card you have on file or add a new credit card/paypal to pay off the balance before you can add a prepaid gold card.
