When you pre-order, check to see if the games you want have Smart Delivery. That means you can pre-order the Xbox One version, but you'll get the Series X version for free when it launches. If that's the case, then go ahead and pre-order the One version.

Well this happened to me but it never came back on so you have a power brick issue I now as I bought 2 xboxones and when I switched em out it s fine call xbox and get a repair order number you send it back to them and when they receive it they send you new
one. And yes you pay for shipping
