    I want to know if my controller is under warranty


    We’ve had our controller since dec 2019, for months now it hasnt been working correctly i keep trying to cibtact customer support but get a notification saying calls and onlibe chat not available for this issue. We’ve tried all options on forums about configuration
    etc none make a difference.

    we are relacing the batteries every day even if only played with for an hour, i then purchased the rechargeable packs from the microsoft store two in a pack lasted a month then they stopped working all together the controller clearly has more than the one
    fault ive tried contacting microsoft online to no avail and quite honestly fed up of getting no where any advice or contact details to get in touch with them

    depends which country, in the UK its a full 1 year warranty and in the EU its 2 years.

    Controllers come with a 90 day warranty, except the Elite 2 which is one year.

    How long have you had the controller? If it's within warranty it may be worth it to send it in.

    If it's not under warranty, and you want to try to work with it yourself, you should be able to YouTube people repairing their own controllers, or taking them apart to repaint, etc. I would not do this if you're under warranty as it would void the warranty,
    though.

    ive tried that already i just want to roll back the update so i can use my controller again as i cant afford to pay for a new controller or for the repair of my controller & its no longer under warranty
