Hello. I recently moved to Canada and all the sockets in my house are 110V. I have tried plugging my xbox one in every socket in my house but it didn't work. I want to know how I can make my xbox one work here in a 110V socket. Please help me out because I am new to this type of situation.

    Thank You!

    :)

I want to know how my 220V Xbox One will work in a 110V socket.

The original Xbox One's external PSUs have a fixed Voltage unfortunately.

The best option is the one WattyNeula mentioned, assuming you can find an original MS power supply. If you buy a third party one, check the reviews first, cos some of them are noisy/unreliable.

The other option is to use a step-up transformer, which can take the 110V coming from the mains and step it up to 220V, then you would use your existing Xbox PSU with that, but step-up transformers can be expensive and it's a less elegant solution than just replacing the PSU.

Hi Yousha, this is Manuela!. I'm an Independent Advisor and community user like you

I recommend you to get a 110V power brick for your Xbox one instead, because the only way to use the power brick you have is finding a socket that use 220V.

Can I use a 220V power supply for my XBOX One from the US?

Hi, if you want to use your US xbox in Singapore you will need to simply buy an external 220V power supply.

All the xbox one are identical and the only difference is the the external brick for the different countries (the current that goes inside the console is the same, simply the external brick convert it from 220V or 110V depending on the country).

Using directly a 220V power brick is even better than use a 110V power brick with an external converter from 220V to 110V

    XBOX ONE DON'T POWER ON

    Hi

Xbox One consoles purchased in europe come supplied with a 220-240v power supply and North America uses the 110v system so if you replace the power supply for your console it should then work.

If you do not want to replace the power supply then the new Xbox One S console supports both 110v and 220v.
