im a bit of a neat freak and i dont want an open account out there while i dont even use it. how can i delete my mc account?

You can't. Your Minecraft account IS your Microsoft account and vice versa.

You can't. Your Microsoft account IS your minecraft account. They are one in the same so you cant delete one without deleting the other.

You mentioned you only want to use your email address to a different account. Is it a Microsoft email domain or a 3rd party email address?
