Hey Pencil, I can't specifically do anything as I don't work for MS, but I can tell you that this information will help you out and is the avenue you will want to take to find out your Windows LIVE ID. If support is able to give you your ID with the method
below, then you will want to start the process to recover your password. Calling them would be your best bet I believe.

thanks for replying but it got me nowhere, as i said i only know the gamer tag and cant fill out the recovery form as i dont know the windows live id of the account, is it possible that you can do something if i tell you the gamertag is J 563?

There's no way to merge accounts. The best way of finding out if a gamertag is available is by trying to change your gamertag to it. The system will tell you if it's taken or not. You can search through the website, but it doesn't show tags that are in use
on other services.
