Discus and support I want to change my Xbox Live display name in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I can't find out how to change my Xbox Live display name on my 360.     I want to change my Xbox Live display name


    I can't find out how to change my Xbox Live display name on my 360. I've tried Settings, Account, and the website. I don't want to change my gamertag but the name under it. I changed it years ago and I don't want to have a name that I made up in sixth grade.
    Please help!

    Personal Information displayed on dash

    It gets your name from your live account YOU set up. You can go in and change the display name to what you want. Tested and worked.

    Your Skype Name cannot be changed, but you can change your Skype display name.

    New GamerTag Won't Display Ingame

    I got it sorted.... kind of. Basically, I spoke to someone on a live chat and they told me it's not displaying because I have " 凰 " in my name. However, with the new changes it was my understanding I'd be able to use any name and have it display. Now I'm left WITHOUT my free name change and being forced to pay when I had no warning whatsoever that this name wouldn't display. Which is a bit unfair in my opinion.
