I want to change my Username

I want to change my username from to Fallensource. I have imputed it to change it and it says that it cannot be changed to that name. I then asked a representative if anyone is using that name, and i was told that no one was, but that it has been
used before, but that Xbox doesn't recycle usernames

I use this username for most of my gaming sites and i want all of my friends to be able to easily find me. I also like this name.

I would like to change this.

Xbox Live username change to inactive username.

Hey I was wondering if I could change my Xbox live username to an inactive user's one?: I use this particular username (that I want to change to) in most of my games that I have i.e Minecraft, Twitter, YouTube and much more (the username
I want to change to is SilverMyth). But it's currently being used by an Xbox 360 user which seems inactive? Can someone please check if the account is inactive and tell me if I can change my username to that one?, thanks x

sorry you cannot request a name that is being used, FYI Live is not the only service that uses the game tag system, windows PC games and Zune do too. you will just have to pick another name.

 

Or you could change it slightly. For example: I Fallensource I, or x Fallensource x. You would still have the name you desired.

 

Just to add, the system doesn't see things like spaces as making a gamertag unique. So Fallensource would be the same as Fallen Source (which is being used).
