    I want to cancel my xbox gold membership or account anything!!


    i have been a xbox gold member for a very very long time, my dad recently realize he was being billed my xbox Microsoft and has been for god knows how long!

    i dont even have an xbox anymore i dont know the account its under or the email. and the bank cant even stop it, they have tried but it just keeps coming.

    How to Turn off auto renewal or cancel Xbox LIVE membership

    How to turn off auto renewal

    It is recommended that you cancel your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership using the option of turning off automatic renewal. If auto renewal is "off", your membership will expire at the end of its current term.

    Steps to follow:

    1) If you are not already signed in, click Sign In at the upper right hand corner and sign in using your Microsoft account.

    2) Proceed to My Account.

    3) Click Change next to automatic renewal. Change the setting to OFF

    You will be able to continue enjoying all the benefits of Xbox LIVE Gold Membership until your paid membership time expires.

    Note:

    If you want to cancel or disable your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership immediately, you should contact Xbox support. Use the Request a Call from Support option on the official Xbox Contact Us page. Your account cannot be canceled through chat or email.

    If you disable your account immediately, you will lose the time remaining on your membership subscription.

    If you are on a 2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract, and you want to cancel before the end of the 2 years, you will be charged an Early Termination Fee and other applicable taxes. Once the two-year agreement period is over, your account will not be renewed automatically.

    You can cancel the 2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract using the option of self-cancel your subscription on Xbox.com

    Sorry to hear it. You're going to have to give phone support a call about this then. Because you don't know any of the information about the console I'm hoping they'll be able to help out.

    If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269

    If they cannot help you then your dad will have to contact his bank or credit card company to dispute any charges to make them stop.

    the bank has already tired to stop it and they thought they had, but nope they just keep billing and billing and the bank cant seem to stop it.....

    To cancel an auto-renewal, go to www.xbox.com/account, look for your 1-Month Gold Membership, click the link to cancel auto payment, then follow on screen directions. When finished, you will be returned to the My Account page, and it will say "Expires on
    DD-MM-YYYY" instead of "Renews on DD-MM-YYYY", and the cancel auto payment link will be gone. You'll also receive an email notification stating that your membership is scheduled to cancel. If you want to remove the payment option, you'll be able to do that
    once the Gold expires, as long as it's not attached to any other memberships on that account, or still has any kind of pending charge or anything. Hope this info helps.
