    I own fully own Minecraft through Mojang on PC but I want to play it though the Xbox app to play with friends, but it wants me to buy the game again. I'm not giving Microsoft more money for a game I already own, so how do I link my accounts?

    Reinstalling a game I already own.

    I'm having problems with Minecraft. It really looks like there's some data corruption. Default textures aren't displaying correctly, menu items are missing, and the console freezes.

    I thought, like most computers, I should try uninstalling and doing a clean install. But, I bought the game online, and I'm not sure how to go about doing that to make sure I don't loose my saved data...and how to download and install it without having
    to BUY it again.

    I'm sure there has to be thread, or entry somewhere here that covers that, but I can't find it.

    Can someone either tell me, or send me a link? Thanks

    Each game purchased both X360 and X1 is associated with the account. Check to use the same account. You can find the list of games purchased on the console in the "Ready
    to Install    " section.

    Once the game releases, you should be able to buy it as a gift. They just don't allow the gift option on pre-orders.
