I want to be able to play digitally purchased game offline

I purchased the madden bundle a few months ago. It came with a digital copy of madden 15. This is not the first time I can't connect to xbox live. I really would not care about not being able to connect to xbox live but I cant play my game unless I am. How
can I enable= the ability to play this offline?

Look this is simple I've been playing football and hockey games my entire life, 80% of the time with no internet. I insert the game and play it, I want to do that, I at minimum need to be provided with the services I pay for. Thank you

0x87e107e3 error preventing users from playing games!!!

Microshaft- please get your **** together. I'd like to play games I have purchased digitally (seeing as thats how ALL MY GAMES ARE OWNED) along with many other people..... Even if your bunk **** servers are down we should be able to play offline.

Is discless play without a 24 check still possible?

Whilst I have not purchased any full retail games from the xbox live service I have got 2 arcade games which since purchased and link to my console can be played offline (Well, they used to til the console I purchased them with broke).

Anyone here purchased digital copies of full proper games (Non arcade) and able to play offline ?

MS could very easily make the old system possible without the 24h checks, I know 2-3 ways they can implement it but they either want it one way or another and it backfired.

Unless everyone everywhere has a stable and strong broadband connection fully digital isnt going to be possible to implement, and incase someone comes blabbing about steam then thats another reason a lot of people dont have PC's and stick to consoles instead as they cannot get online.Click to expand...

Ironically, in what I'm proposing, games purchased via an online method could be played from the hdd offline. Games bought on disk would need to be online to play diskless

Sorry to hear about the connection issue. There was a service alert up yesterday that was similar to this issue, are you still experiencing connection issues?

As for enjoying digital games without having to be signed in, follow these steps below:

While signed into your Xbox Live profile, press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select Settings.

In the Settings page, navigate to the bottom left part of the screen and select Home Console and make your Xbox One the home console for your Xbox Live profile.

Let us know if that is what you were looking for and if you are still having Xbox Live connection issues! \/

If you purchase a digital copy of the game, the console will need to be able to connect online to confirm the purchase and update the license one time. After that, you just need to be on your home console in order to play a digital game offline.

Otherwise you will need the disc in the console to play the game offline.

If they are Digital Purchases it needs to communicate online, you can not play them offline

This is incorrect. Once I get the issue to stop happening, all my games become playable. Just offfline. No online play.

If you are using your HOME Xbox then your digital purchases have a 'stamp' on them that lets the system know they are able to be played even if OFFLINE.

You need to have your console set as home console when wanting to use digital purchases offline. That's the way digital rights management is realised on the system. If you are wanting to play your games offline on a console not set add home console it will
not work at all.
