I want to access the saved data of a game but I no longer have GamePass.

alright but there is a way for me to see that .save in my folders? As I said, I have a new PC and I don't have the game folders, these may be in the Xbox cloud

Oh okay, I think you may need to play the game on Xbox App first. All game progress that you have on Xbox is synced to cloud storage, so the moment you sign in and play the game, it will download to your folders.

As far as I understand, the saved files are removed if the game is being uninstalled because it should be linked with the game files as well.

This could be the reason why you can no longer find the data from the game inside the folder because it has already been uninstalled. But there are also games from gamepass that their data is restricted and you cannot access it for security reasons.

1. I am using PC Game Pass on my gaming computer.

2. Yes, I played the game in February when I had game pass, and now I no longer have game pass.

3. Yes, I didn’t wanna pay $10 and have to download 80GB of content for a few megabytes of save data.

It’s unfortunate that my save data was removed from my computer just because I deleted the game. I still wanted the save data.
