    Dear Support Team,

    i have an Gamertag thats named and i would like to change it in MrLufus so i looked by add friend this name because it is not aviable to use. So i didnt found this Profile but i want this Name because it is my specific Nickname in all Games and
    on all Platforms im ready to pay the regular price for that i want this name please help me. (I read that inactive account wil be deletet)

    I want to use a specific gamertag.

    Basically, I was told by an agent to make a forum post because they will keep me updated here. My issue is that 2 years ago after I changed my gamertag, that gamertag was immediately taken by someone and never used on a silver account. I was wondering if
    microsoft can release the gamertag to me.

    The system doesn't see things like spaces as making gamertags unique. The gamertag shows as being in use because you're already using it as Mr Lufus. In order to change it to MrLufus, you would need to change your gamertag to something else and then change
    it again to MrLufus.

    Sorry, but no. There is no way to request a gamertag to be freed up. The gamertag system is also used on other Microsoft services, so even if it's not being used on the 360, it could be in use elsewhere.
