I want my sons gamer profile moved from my email to his. I want to be able to create my own

The Gamer tag ######### is currently associated with my e-mail address... I want it moved and associated with his e-mail address so I can use my e-mail address, profile, and newly created Gamer tag for my three windows 10 machines, my Xbox 360 and my Xbox
one S allowing me to synch my music Netflix, etc with all my devices.

OWN ACCOUNT FOR MY SON WHO IS USING MY ACCOUNT

My son has been using my microsoft account and i want to create his own account. Does de games, games´s progress and DLC can be transfer from my account to his? Or what can i do?

hey, does anyone know if its possible to transfer an existing profile to an alternate or new email addres ?. my son has historically used my email account for his profile but now he wants his profile to relate to his own email address.

Hi.

So the gamer tag associated with my email (the adult) is there to stay or can I delete that gamer tag and create my own? Then I could create a new profile for son #1 and a new gamer tag.

I have figured out/created a new profile and gamer tag for son #2.

So I would like to:

change the gamer tag that is connected to my email account (the adult).

If possible I would like to keep my son's gamer tag and just move it to the email account/profile I created for him... (I'm pretty sure you said I couldn't do this but just checking?

Thanks for the response. My problem is I wish to continue to use my own email address and account apart from the Xbox live piece. My son wants to use his own email for the Xbox going forward.

Hi Brad,

I don't want to remove an MS account. My son's gamer tag is currently linked to my MS account. I'm a retired software developer with ton's of stuff in MS linked to that account. All we really want to do is switch my son's gamer tag from my MS account
to his own (neither of the email accounts in question is an MS domain). Ideally, we'd like him to still be able to access his gaming history (saved games, DLCs, purchases, etc.) with his existing gamer tag. Naturally, we don't want him to have to re-purchase
all his games though we will do that if necessary. Is gaming data (saved games, etc.) stored locally and keyed with his gamer tag? Surely this is a common issue for kids who started gaming when they were too young to have their own accounts?

Just so I'm understanding this question correctly.

The current Xbox profile is under your email and are wondering if you can put that profile under your brothers email?

Once that is done you are wanting to then create a new xbox profile with your current email?
