I want beam out of my console and Snap back

Beam is pure thrash and unfit to even be called a competitor of Twitch. If Beam was any good, it would not need to be forced upon xbox clients (many of which feel cheated by the latest "system update" that disguised an unwanted application and removed an
appreciated feature -- many clients that would very much like to reverse the downgrade if they could --- many clients that may think twice before agreeing to the upcoming system updates in the future -- Will they removed things I like again? Will they forced
another crappy and unwanted app on me again?)

If Beam was worthy to download, it would be so... it is not, beam has to be forced installed on millions of console to even exist as a thing. Remove that thing from my property. Not renewing gold unless it's gone and Snap is back (and putting a single cent
anymore into xbox until then either -- microsoft does not seem to care about it's client complaints since the last system downgrade)

New Xbox Update

The new Xbox update has a few bugs. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one experiencing the party bug where someone's voice will get loud for a second then go back down to normal. Also as a streamer you need to bring back snap feature because I can
no longer see my twitch chat when I try to snap. Then it'll say that I'm broadcasting beam when I'm clearly on twitch. Snap was one of your main features. Why take it out? Bring back snap.

 

A plan to get rid of Beam out of our consoles

Alrighty folks listen up,

Are you amongst the many who feels cheated by the removal of our beloved Snap and the forced install of beam disguised as a system update, but felt more like a downgrade on march 25th?

Well have I got an idea for you. IF you really want to remove beam from your console.

Just head to Beam forums and post your opinion that you would wish Beam was optional, no need to be brash or even use name calling, not even need to even be mildly impolite, nope... The Beam staff and fanboys, just can't cope with diverging opinion and will
gang together to have you banned in matters of minutes. As example I got banned right after a commented to that effect (that Beam just can't accept diverging opinions -- like not wanting Beam on your console), proving the point. (they did try to ban me from
the streaming app, but I was conversing with MS tech at the time, so that ban did not last more than 2 minutes -- forums is still not MS property yet tough)

If enough of us get banned by Beam and can no longer use it, Microsoft will have no choice but to make it at least optional. And hopefully bring Snap back along.

We’re evolving the Xbox experience based on how gamers are multi-tasking on Xbox One, and thus, we’re removing the Snap feature to improve system performance, game performance, and overall reliability. While most Snap experience will now launch to full-screen
experiences, we’re taking the more popular Snap experiences gamers are using and building them directly into the Guide, which includes starting Beam broadcasts, a new Achievement tracker, and GameDVR.
