I would buy it. If you don't but it you are likely only going to wish you had. My advice would be to keep the 360 and pass it through the Xbox One so you can switch between the two, effortlessly. The 360 is still a fantastic machine and will be supported
for a good while longer so there's no need to dismiss it I want an Xbox One but... :)

  2. Not tried passing anything through the x1 except my pc (playing through witcher 2) and the input lag to the mouse was horrendous I'm pretty sure passing a console through will be the same.

I want an Xbox One but...

I have both consoles, but have been playing a lot out of my 360 lately with the addition of the Fallout NV DLC that I picked up.

When I come to think of it I should have possibly waited a little longer to purchase my One (I don't regret it at all btw) for that price drop and a few more games that I'm interested in to be released.

  5. I played my 360 with biz-M the other night and had a ton of fun. Looking forward to playing on the backlog of GwG games I have built up.

As for the lag, I haven't passed a single thing through my X1 so I cant comment on the lag.

i didnt notice pass through lag till i played games like sleeping dogs, once you had on screen timed button imputs and the need for precise parrys etc i just could not do them ever, when i took my xb out of the pass through and put it on direct it was a
breeze, i started on fallout so didnt see the lag at all because usually i was in VATs lol

  7. Is it something that can be tuned via a patch or is this a hardware sort of thing that cant be addressed?

I want an Xbox One but...

I was kind of a derp and brought Xbox 1 at a midnight release day 1 (and catched a taxi home). I still love and play way more on my Xbox 360 as well. What got me to get it was Forza and Zoo Tycoon. EB Games said the NFS Rivals would be delayed by 1 week.

I know Xbox 1 is missing many of the Xbox stuff from Xbox 360 but M has brought some of them back light Dolby support, battery indicator, recent players list. Xbox 1 is still missing voice messages though (real important!) can't even do it to other Xbox
1 consolers or for Skype. And you have to put up with the dull black UI background. With 360 you could add a pic or theme to it the background. I know with Windows 8.1 you can add a picture/theme to the Desktop and Start Screen background instead of looking
at an uninteresting back background. And since only 9 of my friends actually have an Xbox 1. The UI takes some getting use to. OK I know I'm a bit fussy. But when Halo and Minecraft come out on it, Xbox 1 should get more users. Sure there maybe some hardware/software
issues and things missing, but Microsoft does....... roll out frequent *updates*. Pays to do some research first. If you want it now or soon, go for it. If you want to wait, that's up to you. The console retails for NZ$749 but got it for NZ$748 from EB Games.
A few weeks ago I saw another retailer selling Titanfall, and Xbox 1 console for only NZ$648. Could of saved $199 I want an Xbox One but... :)

Being a NZer too I also saw that and was like... darn, if only I knew the date that this was going to happen, I probably would have held off a little longer. I got mine two months ago and knew at some point there was going to be a price drop and some bundle
deal aswell, but it was a matter of when. I've enjoyed and played my One a lot in those two months so it's all good.

  10. Thanks for all the replies. I went out of town the day I posted this and didn't have time to come back check the comments. Thanks for all the advice, and thanks for keeping it civil.

I decided to push buying an Xbox One till October. That should give me enough time to catch up on some 360 games.

Yeah it had overlays that came with games to show you what the buttons did. It still fit like a pad at the top in your hands but not the best in the world. It helped to bridge the gap between PC games, good in idea but poor in execution.

At the time it had the power without the support. AVP looked stunning at the time though, most of the games were such a joke. I remember playing Double Dragon on it, I was a 2d fighter fan, that game was shockingly bad. I bought it mainly for Syndicate as
I couldn't afford a PC at the time, it suffered major slowdown though when anything happened.
