I want a [mod removed] refund

I downloaded minecraft a while back but a few days after i got it and purchased realms it said my privacy and safety settings were preventing me from playing AND BEFORE SOMEONE SAYS IT I TALKED WITH SUPPORT FOR A HALF AN HOUR AND THEY SAID IT WAS A PROBLEM
WITH MOJANG and its been a month and they haven’t gotten back to me so i put in a request for a refund and i just got an email saying they’ve denied me because I played the game but thats [mod removed] because THE DIGITAL GAME broke on me and its unfixable
so all I want is my [mod removed] refund.

I can understand your frustration in this matter. If you are not the account holder or a child on an adults account, you will need them to change your privacy settings to allow you to do so if it is their choosing. You will not get a refund for a game
that is deemed age or content restrictive by the developers. You can have the account holder follow this link to make those changes. https://account.xbox.com/settings

You don't need a refund.

You (or if you are not yet of legal adult age according to your account's birth date, your parent) just needs to make small changes to your account, and you can use Realms without problems.

If you are not yet of legal adult age, have your parents go to
https://account.microsoft.com/family. If not already done so, they need to sign in with their own adult account and add your child account to the Family.

After that, your parents (or you, if you are of legal adult age) go to
https://account.xbox.com/settings.

There change your privacy settings to be allowed to see creations of others. Save the settings and change to the Xbox One/Windows 10 settings. There you need to be able to play multiplayer with friends or everyone, and be able to play multiplayer outside
of Xbox Live to allow cross platform play on Minecraft.

After these settings are saved, you need to sign out of your console/PC and back in to have the changes take effect.

Launch Minecraft and you should be able to play.

Have you actually tried setting up your online and privacy settings to allow you to play on Realms? You can do it yourself on
https://account.xbox.com/settings if you are already of legal adult age (according to the birth date entered, when you set up your account), or have a parent do that according
to the instructions I gave above.

I contacted them immediately after I was on the support line with Microsoft which was like a month ago maybe two months ago and I still haven’t gotten a reply back which is when I put in the request for a refund
