    I used an incorrect e-mail address for Xbox LIVE


    When I was prompted to create an Xbox LIVE account, I used an incorrect e-mail. I misspelled my e-mail address, and now, Xbox won't allow me to change my address unless I verify the other (incorrect) one. I attempted to use the misspelled account, but it
    already exists. Can anyone tell me how to change e-mail accounts? IT would be most appreciated.

    Check your e-mail address with xbox live and check your e-mail address you're making your purchase with on xbox.com

    Are they the same? I "purchased" gears of war 3 easily.

    It sounds like you may have used the incorrect e-mail address when signing into Xbox Live, is it possible you have a different e-mail that you used when you created your Gamertag? Is that Gamertag that you're using now the Gamertag you're trying to access on
    your Xbox One?

    It sounds like you might be using the incorrect Microsoft Account to sign into Xbox Live. Do you have a different e-mail address that you use that you can try signing in with?

    Is it possible you're entering the incorrect e-mail address? Are you trying to sign into the same account that you're posting here with? Let us know :) If you have another e-mail address give that a try to see if it helps!

    I believe you'll have to use a different e-mail address.

    If your son is using your e-mail for his Xbox Live account, that e-mail is linked to his gamer tag.

    If this account/E-mail was setup only used with Xbox then it should be possible to change the E-mail address on the
    Microsoft Profile page however if this E-mail address is also used by your sister for any of the other services provided by Microsoft such as Skype, Onedrive, Office 365 etc then it will not
    be possible to change the E-mail address for just the Xbox live account.
