    I used a 48 hours trial for Gold and after 12 hours I still can't play online or going groups


    I submitted the code without problems and when I check my subscription status it says i actually have gold but everytime I try to play online or just join a group I get redirected to a page where I'm asked to pay at least a month of gold

    Why isnt this guy banned?

    When people have a silver gamertag but they're playing online it means that they used a 48 hour trial code. That lets them play online for 48 hours but it doesn't show up that they have gold because they don't... it's a trial.

    Hi. I have tried for nearly three hours to play online and should sleep soon. I have tried log in and log out and also reconnect to the internet but I still can't play online. The 48-hour trial code for Gold has certainly been activated.

    Please help me.

    The 48 hour trial will not make you a Gold member. You will still stay as a free member, but the only difference is that you can play online.

    Also you won't be able to get the offers on "Deals of the Week" if you use a 48 hour trial, you have to be a Gold member.

    The only way to play online without Gold is is their having a free Gold weekend, or you manage to snag one of those 48 hour trial cards. Other then that playing online is a no go.

    The 12+1 month cards will work. The trials they are referring to are things like 48 hour gold trials that don't actually make your account gold.
