Android updates regularly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice. It's not connecting on my tablet either.

Thank you for your response. The troubleshooting steps you sent over were not helpful as those were for a Windows computer and my issue is with Android devices.

I am running v1.24.1.958 of the Android app. I did uninstall the app and then reinstall it. When I did that, and opened the map, everyone in my family did show up. So, I will work on trying that on the other devices and see if that fixes the issue.

This is for normal worlds hosted on other devices on my local area network. I've tested hosting worlds on android tablets, android phones, ipads, and a dedicated bedrock server running on my PC. In all cases, the mobile devices are able to connect to other
multiplayer worlds on my LAN, but the XBox shows the "Your friends are not playing Minecraft right now" message despite being able to see the other worlds (as indicated by the count under the friends tab).

I'm sorry to hear about this current issue. I would like to ask have you tried to uninstall Minecraft from your android device and re-install it ? If not I would recommend to uninstall the game from your device and re download it.

I have cleared the caches on both devices and updated to newest version of Minecraft but they still won't allow me to sign in as a different user 😤.

If I uninstall and reinstall will they lose all their worlds etc do you know please?
