    I can't create a xbox live account

    Every time I try to create a xbox live account I get a error code and a message that said that I can't create a xbox live account at this time.

    'Problem with credentials' Xbox Live Log In Problem

    I'm trying to create an Xbox Live account for my son but, when I try to create one using my email address, Microsoft Live password etc I get an error message telling me that there is 'a problem with the credentials that I am using' and tells me to go to
    online to solve the problem. We can't see anything wrong with my Windows Live account online. What do we do?!

    Hi there, this is what is going on. The windows live ID and password you are trying to use to create an account has already been used to create an account on xbox live. That is the reason you can't use the email your trying. What you can do is create a new
    windows live ID and password and then make an account with that.

    From what I understand, this free trial of XBOX LIVE GOLD needs to be associated with an XBOX LIVE account and GamerTag created on the console for the first time. I have been told that if you are trying to use this with a previously created account or GT,
    it will give the error.

    I am getting this error as well, which is upsetting, but I am confident that XBOX will be able to either fix or rectify the issue.

    That's what I've been trying to do! My original account is just called Player1 and whenever I try to join Live on that account, it just creates new separate accounts
