    I tried verify my Xbox account munchies1000 but I can’t remember the password. I try to submit a form with my information but it says not enough info to validate. Does anyone know what to do?

    I lost access to the email and password of my xbox account

    I’m having the same issue. Set up a new account on Christmas Day and linked it to my new Xbox with game pass. Unfortunately I can’t remember the password, therefore I can’t log back in. I’ve filled out numerous password reset forms, but microsoft keep coming back stating they can’t verify my account. I then have to wait 24 hours before I can have (only) another two tries at filling in the form. Only two tries per 24 hours permitted. Also atempted to speak with a physical person, but this is impossible.

    I realise this is my fault due to forgetting my password, but microsoft must try harder to resolve these type of issues.

    Important: The account recovery form can only be used if two-step verification isn't turned on.

    If you did not have 2FA active on the account, you will need to try the Account Recovery Form again: [https://account.live.com/acsr]

    The form is the only recovery system in place that does not use your connected security information.

    I understand you have tried before and been denied, but this does not mean you will always be denied. Please keep trying, the system works on probability, consistency is key! You only need to pass once. =)

    Microsoft takes account security very seriously, that's why Account Recovery is an automated process with no human influence. If you don't have the correct information, you may not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

    The Account Recovery Form requires adequate information to prove that you are the owner of the account. The Account Recovery Process can be a time consuming process, but providing as much info as possible from the start of the process will increase the possibility of being verified by the automated process. You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft.

    Remember to use a familiar device from which you've frequently accessed your Microsoft account, as well as a familiar location. Microsoft will review your responses and respond within 24 hours. If you are verified, instructions on how to log back into your account will be sent to you, and if you are not verified, you will need to submit the Account Recovery form again. You can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

    It's important to note that Microsoft Support will not be able to grant you access to your account, you will be sent back to the Account Recovery pages that have been linked above.

    If you cannot remember your password, go to Account Password Recovery, and follow the instructions there to reset the password.
    If opening that link doesn't work then clearing your cache on your browser might help.

    Hello khaji, that’s the problem I don’t know or have the email that my cousin created that account with because it’s been so long. It’s been years so that email is lost and unfortunately I can’t reset my password because it says I’ve been locked out to sign in due to the password being entered wrong multiple times and it wasn’t till the end when I’m locked and blocked out of the email sign in I remember the password. I’ve also tried to verify it through my console but it just sends me to accountlive.com to reset my password which I can’t do. I even tried putting my cousins phone number instead of his email and that does not work so I don’t know what else to do? Was there a different number I put in other than my cousins, I don’t know this was years ago. Maybe I can get unlocked or unblocked out of the sign in because I finally remember my the password to my cousins email, other than that the forms are not working? It’s as if the forms don’t even get looked through! The key details I provided should have gotten my account back already and I’m sorry Khaji but this was no help at all?! Can I get my questions answered or actual advice on what to do here.
