I tried to upload a custom image but this weird cryptic font came up and I don't know what...

So, out of curiosity, I went to upload a new custom profile picture last night, and a message came up afterwards. I followed the instructions on it, and then the next day, everything was fine again. It's weird though, as i don't remember messing with that setting before.

I thought mine looked weird (my 7 looks like a 1) but its just the font used is really weird. What number were you thinking should be there?

Rather than go through a laborious task of trying to reset a particular font, I would suggest resetting all of Windows 10's font's. If the Xbox App uses one of these font's it may well fix your issue.

Go to the Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization
-> Fonts;

In the left pane, select Font settings;





In the next window click the Restore default font settings button.

I did this it's so weird, I first pressed "Go Offline" then I turned off my Xbox, unplugged the network cable, started up the xbox, then this came up in "My Games" section

You will be able to customize the tag for games that don't support the new system here: Change Xbox Gamertag | Xbox

I tried making one up myself to see what would happen and if you notice, the second gamertag has a "customize" button next to it.
