    I tried to uninstall and followed a guide, and now my Xbox won't even display a screen.


    I'm using an Xbox One S and I recently Installed the beta test for the newest minecraft snapshot. The first problems were that I was unable to switch from the snapshot to the main game. Frustrated by this, I wanted to reinstall the game entirely so I could play. Other games still worked, When I tried to uninstall I got a something went wrong error and was unable to uninstall any of the games. I tried to remedy the problem by looking at another forum. This forum told me to put my console on energy saving mode, force a restart using the xbox button on the console, taking out the power supply cable, waiting 2 mins, putting the cable back in and trying to boot up. I can no longer boot up, the console turns on and so does the controller, but nothing gets displayed. Just a no signal on the TV. I have checked the HDMI ports of both the TV and Xbox to properly ensure that the wire was plugged in, but no success. Please help...

    I don't have a USB to reset it, I don't know if I'm supposed to use any USB drive, but I don't have one. I also can't navigate to the menu where I can even factory reset it because it won't even display a screen. Is there no hope?

    I also can't restart it because it's an Xbox one S and there is no eject button to press. Additionally, one of the issues is that it doesn't show up on the TV as a result I can't even select the factory reset option because I wouldn't be able to see the recovery menu when it would load up

    I tried uninstalling the game. Unfortunately now that I have, it won't let me reinstall it. The store says I already own it. But its not on my screen and not on my list of apps. It is nowhere on my tablet. So what now?

    My problem is solved! It now just works :)

    The following has changed; Yesterday while I was using Xbox Music I got suddenly disconnected from Xbox Live. I did the network connection test and it suggested that I should restart my router. I did. When I tried the Walking Dead yesterday evening to show
    the error message to someone it all of a sudden worked. I tried again this morning and it still worked.

    I suspect that restarting my router solved it. Now that it works the game displays the following after the “Select a Device” screen:

    “Connecting...”

    “Refreshing episode status.”
