I tried to install madden 23 and it says the files are corrupted. What am I doing wrong?

I have a Xbox 1 s and I already checked that I was trying to install the right version. But every time I try to install it it cancels the installation and says the files were corrupted. I was trying to instal it to an external hardrive attached to my Xbox if that makes a difference.

Oh, I understand. Let's try to troubleshoot.

Don't worry we will fix this together. Please make sure you can sign in all your profiles. Let's try to restore the console back to factory defaults but we will select keep my games and apps so it won't remove your games and progress.

Please follow the steps here:

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Settings

- Select System

- Select Console info & updates

- Select Reset console

- Select Keep Games and Apps

After this, you will have to sign in again with your email and password. Then please try to install it again. Thanks!

I understand. This means the issue is on the game server and you'll be needing to reach EA support for it.
