    I tried to change my Gamertag, got charged for it, but the page is just stuck in a...


    So I tried to change my Gamertag. It's the second time so now it costs some money. I used my debit card, and I got charged for it, yet the page got stuck in a "loading" or "buffering" state, and my Gamertag didn't seem to change in my xbox apps. I don't really know what I did wrong. By the moment I'm writing this, the page is still buffering on a separate tab.

    Thank you so much. This solved my problem! Yay! I was hesitating at first, (didn't really want to get charged twice), but I trusted and went on, and the change was succesful without charging me again.

    Hi ShinokuOkazaki, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Kindly try to reload the page and then try to change the gamertag again, if the transaction is successful and there are no changes made on your Gamertag you should not be charged twice.

    The same thing happened to me but when I reloaded the page. The weirdest thing is that I was allowed to make my gamertag the 15 character limit again. Which I found both great and confusing since the limit was put 12. I checked on the availability of one that was 12 characters but it was taken and when I went the customize page, it showed that I could set it to 15. I put my old gamertag and was charged the change fee but the screen did the endless buffer and never saw the change.

    Hi. The payment is pending and when I tried to change my gamertag using the link it's charging $9.95.

    And yes, I tried to change my gamertag on my Xbox, was charged but no change occurred.

    I just got out of UA and am still stuck with Dougboy32.

    I tried to get my gamertag back but it still says Doug is taken.

    Furthermore I was only credited the 800 points stolen from my account and not credited with another 800 to change my tag.
