I tried putting my xbox one s into 120hz and it made some colorful flashing lights however...

Whenever I turn on my xbox i cant see nor do anything. all i see is flashing lights so i wont be able to factor reset

Kindly try and reset your console by keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

1. If there's a disc in the Xbox console, eject it.

2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console.

3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until the second beep occurs.

4. In either case, this will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, press the Xbox button to open the guide. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options, and then select the resolution you want from the Display dropdown.

if you take a image that is very dark and light like black and white and you let the lighter line go along the app pins, it will change the color some.

That show I made my purple one a mix of dark and light purple and some blue.

When I then snap the app list it will have rainbow purple colors
