    I thought the Xbox series x was supposed to be quiet


    I thought the new Xbox was supposed to be quiet for the past 2 days my Xbox has been louder than my own PC my Xbox one x is quieter than the Xbox x series and yes I have switched it over to environmental mode and when I turn it off even by holding the
    power button the fan still runs very loudly what is the deal with this

    I have had this same issue for months now. I have fiber optic internet and great internet and use the Series X. Constant signin and out and even when a videos paused it sings me out causing the video to play and advertisement when it is suppose to be quiet!

    My new Xbox Series X is doing the exact same thing! It only seems to be happening when it's downloading. When it installs the update, it gets quiet again. It's really annoying!

    Mine stays quiet all the time, in game or dashboard.

    Where do you have your Series X sitting? Is it in a cabinet without much air flow? Mine is out in the open on a media shelf and it stays cool and quiet.
