I thought the Hellfire Ring was supposed to be powerful?

I just forged my first Hellfire Ring and this is what I got. This ring was made for Princess Mia (Female Wizard; Paragon Level 52), but unfortunately it isn't up to par with her build set-up. Thank you very much for your assistance regarding this matter,

They are powerful, if you get a good roll. As with crafting anything, it's all luck. Either you are lottery lucky and get a sweet roll on the first try, or it takes you many, many tries to get a good one. If you do try to make some more, I wish you the

the only reason it's any good is because you only have to be level 1 to use it

Unfortunately, I have no intention of making another character because I already have two that are level 60 (Princess Mia -- Wizard & Princess Zra -- Barbarian) so I don't see much use for this ring at all.

Yah they are pretty bogus for level 60 builds, the best I rolled was an intel attack speed HF.

I agree. Unless you get really lucky and it actually has useful stats / abilities, this ring will not replace the end game rings that level 60 builds need

They can be good to put on your companion, to help paragon leveling . If you you roll one with a socket and trifecta stats it can be quite strong.

A socketable +Attack Speed, +Critical Hit Chance , and +Critical Hit Damage would be awesome But, I didn't get that so maybe I will get lucky the next time that I try again LOL

My Wizard never had luck with the Hellfire of Intelligence. But then again my rings are fairly powerful. With my build he can do up to 870k+ dps.

 

Lei, you really should consider doing a run with the Witch Doctor, that hellfire ring will allow you to start at level 1 and play on master 5 with very little problems. This should level you up very quickly.

Also you may already know this but your paragon level affects all other characters. You if you are paragon 50, your level 1 character will be level 1(50) and will get all the bonuses that level 50 paragon affords.

Im at work now but when i get home i'll try to remember to upload the skill build im utilizing for both my 800k+ build and my 650k+ CM build.

As for Witch Doctors, they are ok support builds in my opinion. You being a solo player wouldn't benefit from a WD at all. I feel that way about the Demon Hunter as well. Wizards seem built for support but they can handle their own quite well.
