how much more does Xbox need to take from me before we get what we want, now we are getting more indie titles and paying half price of a full game for games that are years older and you can purchase for less than 10$ on Gamestop. i mean where is that fair,
600-700 dollars for the console when it came out, than 60- a year to play online and than 60 for every new game, or 20-30 for old games, when is enough, enough, i have spent in the last year well over 1,000 bucks on Xbox, oh sorry 2,000 including the one that
crapped out a month outside its warranty, it just green screened and I'm sure i could have fixed it but that story is funny in itself. but seriously the game store is littered with the most outrageous indie junk ever produced and i am surprised I'm the first
to complain. i mean hell some of the bc games are not even from Xbox 360, like i get it yeah some are cool to throw in there but just the best selling titles not some random crap you found online and loaded it up. let's talk about how there is games that are
on your phone for free on here and you have to wait to play those as well and those cost money to really play it in the game but free to download. for example (battle islands) (battle ages)etc.... those are games for phones and tablets, not for something i
pay 60 a year for. half the year you have released free junk games and i don't expect anything to be done about it. so i made this forum to just have people come on here and give there own opinion and maybe enough people can change your ways.

Games I already own for 360 Not getting BC but are getting remade as HD for XBOne.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't realize it was the devs/publishers who were deciding BC. While I understand it from a business standpoint, I'd prefer to spend money on new games I haven't played yet than spending that same money for games I already own.
I'm beginning to wish I hadn't traded in my 360 for the promise of BC. I'll probably just pick up on old used 360 system for those classic 360 games and focus on new XB ONE games instead of worrying about BC.

It's annoying to see people already bashing this free DLC as if they know for sure it's not gonna be good enough. It's also annoying to read how melodramatic people are about a video game ending they didn't like.

 

If you purchased the game on the 360 then that BC game is free, however, if you did not own the game on the 360 there is and should be a charge for playing it on the One.

You can pick some of them up for free with GWG.

 

It sounds more like he is complaining of the quality of games. Sure there are a lot of bad games, but there are a lot of gems as well.

I feel you, replacing an Xbox one is just not cool, especially when the old one wasn't broken.

Backwards compatibility simply means that you can play games you own on the 360. If you don't own it then you cant play. It was never meant to allow you to play games for free. That's not the model backwards compatibly was build on.

Xbox Live do offer free games thru Games with Gold. The quality of the content is debate able and in the end it is money.

I think in the end you still come on top with Games with Gold if you do the math. But I can understand why you are not satisfied because I don't play those games either.

Now, on to the subject of 60 here, 60 there, 60 everywhere. I hope you live in the US. In the US games can usually be bought at 20% off brand new, thanks to Best Buy's GCU program and Amazon's Prime program. Sometime even better Best Buy offer $10 Best
Buy vouchers on pre order games. So you effectively save 12 to 22 dollars offer new games. And then there is other ways to save, currently Best Buy is offering 10% off Xbox Gift Cards so you can purchase these cards and purchase games from digital. The
beauty of going to digital is 1. "play anywhere" 2. no TAX.
