i think my xbox is shutting my tv down

The auto off feature will shut down after one hour of inactivity. If you are watching TV or doing something else on the console it will not shut down. If you are in the same room or have pets that walk in front of the sensor it will not shut down as the
system will think you are trying to get it's attention.

As for the sound issues, I had that problem as well. I fixed it by changing the settings on my TV. There is a setting on my TV to sync sound issues if they do not match. Perhaps you should check your settings.

For the issues with the sensor and On/Off commands, try holding the power button for 8 seconds until the console shuts down. That is the equivalent of clearing the cache on the 360.

Hi Reloaded Nazgul. I have the same problem with my xbox one combined with my SAT-reciever from TechniSat.

I use my xbox with shut down option "fast-boot": Whenever I shutdown my xbox and boot again, the TV-picture from my SAT-reciever stays black. If I use my xbox with the shut down option "energy-save mode", so shut down comlete, and start my xbox again, everything
is ok. The SAT-reciever shows up the TV-picture normaly. In witch shutdown mode do you use your xbox? So far I don't have a solution to use the xbox with "fast boot" option with my sattelite-reciever.

My XboxOne x turna on for 5 seconds and then shuts off. It does not read on my tv at all. It makes the moise like its coming on and then shuts downs.

I just did some searching.. seems like if A: you are watching TV, the XB1 thinks you are active and will not shut down B: using netflix, the XB1 thinks you are active and will not shut down.. try setting to your home screen and walk away for an hour....

Hey Together. My problem comes back. Everytime when i shut down the xbox and restart it my live tv doesnt work after that. I cant do ervery time an Factory reset.
