I think I Might return my Xbox Series X, Has Little Value.

I myself mostly play first person shooters and/ or some racing games like Forza Horizon 4, but (90%) shooters. I do play with a controller, but in most games I turn aim assist off.

PUBG, Battlefield 4 are what I mostly play, but it's very hard on consoles. PUBG is the only real good game I like on Xbox Series X. No aim assist, with no PC cross play (Has Stadia I think, but they can't cheat).

Before I got my Xbox Series X I had an Xbox One (2013), but mostly just played on my custom built PC with a GTX 1070. My monitor is 2560 x 1440, So worked in most games just fine at 90+ FPS.

So when I got my Xbox Series X, I thought I would enjoy it more, but I'm really not. I'm a huge fan of being able to choose my in game settings on PC. I mostly always disable V-Sync for reduced input latency on PC. I also can't stand anti aliasing in some games, also motion blur for example really hurts my head.

I tried to play Warzone, but wow is that bad on the Series X. The FOV is so bad my head just gives up (headache). I tried to play Apex Legends, but it has no motion blur setting I could find. So it's odd, I dislike the system not because of Microsoft's hardware, but because they don't enforce quality and/ or personal access for the games it runs. Just seems they let the game companies do what they wish as long as the game runs.

EA Play with Game Pass for example is 90% not updated titles that don't work well on the Xbox Series X, with no intention from EA to update for the newest console. So yeah console gaming is bad (my opinion) unless it starts to get the same level of access as PC does.

I also don't understand why in the world games on consoles don't already have the same settings to be honest when most offer cross play between consoles to PC. Why limit consoles by not having the same level of settings as PCs, but also have unwanted settings they can't change? Meanwhile PC games get to play for free online, while also having unlocked settings, like come on. Where is the value Microsoft, This is silly.

Most people playing on PC are Windows based, why doesn't Xbox follow this same trend and offer the same level of support? The only value I have seen from this console is the 1TB SSD with loading, but then again it uses up to 4GB for each game that uses it, My SSD is already full lol.

On paper the Xbox Series S|X is truly an amazing value, but in reality the limited games hold it back. The same CPU for example is really good, plus the NVME SSD is not that bad, but the games need more direct support. Developers should offer the same level of access they give on PC games, to their console ports.
