I think I messed up

So I was planning to get a monitor but I think I made a mistake. I bought the asus vg27aq with g-sync, I play on a console so I realized too late that I ordered the wrong monitor. So I wanted to know if I really blew it because I know console doesn’t use gsync but instead uses freesync. Will it negatively effect anything with gameplay and visuals? Can I turn gsync off and still play 1440p 60fps fine? I play on a Xbox One S, I want to upgrade to a Xbox Series X and I plan to play 1440p at 120fps,will having this monitor prevent that?

You can still play the Xbox One version of the game, but I'm afraid you will not get the best gaming experience possible considering the console you are using. In addition to this, you will not be able to play online with users who are playing on the Series S/X version.

Oh bummer! Since you bought the code and used it from Amazon, I'm pretty sure they don't do refunds. You would have to check with their support though. Sorry man!

even in the manual it stated adaptive sync which is usually both, the reason they are showing with gsync is that its on the nvidia approved list, but apparently it has all.
