i think i have been given the wrong code for preorder bonuses for destiny 2

I pre-ordered the limited edition of destiny 2. I got a code that said that it would give me the Expansion pass, Cold heart and, premium digital content. When ever you enter a 25 digit code on the Xbox store, it shows you what you are getting before you
enter it. When I was about to enter the code that I got into the code redeemer, it said that I was getting "Destiny 2", just that, nothing else. This implied that is was entering a code for destiny 2, not its pre-order bonuses. Did anyone else on Xbox experience
this when they entered in their code from the limited edition?

Home Xbox with preorder bonuses

We have two xbox's and ive got my brothers account on my xbox set to home xbox so games he buys i can play. I was wondering if we were to preorder destiny 2 on my brothers account would that give me the preorder bonuses aswell like the expansion pass?

Didn't experience that, but try managing the game and see if your bonuses show up in there. If it doesn't I suggest you get a hold of the retailer you purchased from and tell them they gave you wrong code.

I have same problem. I bought it from retailer but how do I show them the code doesn’t work isn’t this an Xbox issue?

Didn't experience that, but try managing the game and see if your bonuses show up in there. If it doesn't I suggest you get a hold of the retailer you purchased from and tell them they gave you wrong code.

I believe when it comes to destiny 2 gamesharing wont work as its linked to the account it first launches on

Gamesharing does work on Destiny 2. It's only the preorder bonuses that do not work with the gamesharing as they are for the person that preorders/bought the game.
