I think I got permanently banned from receiving game invites?

I checked and no, not suspended. I am permanently banned from receiving game invites all without warnings or notifications.

Check the enforcement page if you think you are suspended.

Why do you assume you were banned from this feature? Just because it’s not working for you doesn’t necessarily mean you have a permaban or any account suspension at all.

If you did receive a suspension for anything, there’s not much we can do here on the forum regarding this. You’ll need to go to https://enforcement.xbox.com for information and to submit a case review if eligible.

I can confirm this now works, as I’m able to send and receive game and party invites on both Xbox One and Series X.

You mentioned you’re unable to receive game invites - any problems sending invites? Any error message? Do you encounter this only with certain friends or with everyone? Can you try another account and profile to see if the same error occurs?

Try hard reset your console. Be sure to wait at least 10-15 seconds before reconnecting the power to completely reset the power supply.

Although signing out then back in again and/or a power cycle should be enough, it may also help to remove and reinstall your profile on your console. Make sure you know your account email address and password before doing so.

The option “Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites” needs to be set to everyone (or you can set this to friends if you only want to send and receive invites from players on your friends list) in your privacy settings

It’s also always recommended and preferred to have an Open NAT type. If it’s anything other than Open, try the troubleshooting steps in this guide then reset your router:

I still cannot receive game invites anymore. I don't know what to do anymore.
