I take it back!!

Fron level 1 to light level 24, it was smooth sailing. I was finding better gear all the time, and leveling up faster than i was prepared for. But than, it all came to a crashing halt. I wasn't getting anything good. No legendary engrams, no rare engrams,
not even ascendant shards or the like. It seemed like the Destiny gods had it in for me. Nothing i did was working. All the strikes, story missions with heroic modifiers and crucible matches i did were only giving me gear for levels far beneath my own(15,
16). It got to the point where i deleted the game from my hard drive(stupid i know) I swore the game sucked. Impatience and frustration got the better of me. Well, i re-installed it figuring i'd give it one more go, and i'm glad i did. Last night i played
a level 22 strike(2 levels below me at the time), and got a legendary engram. So i go to the cryptark back at the tower and he actually gives me legendary boots. On top of that, there was a legendary engram at the postmaster that gave me( and this is the honest
to whatever higher power you choose truth), 2 rare weapons, legendary gauntlets, and The Last Word exotic hand cannon!! 2 rares, a legendary and an exotic from 1 engram, and another legendary to. I almost **** my pants. I never would have expected that. Especially
after i was ready to give the game up. Its almost surreal.

So, i take back all the hateful things i said about Destiny...and there were many. I look forward to heading back to the moon, or venus or mars, and finding that next piece of great gear. If your getting frustrated to the point your almost done, don't give
up. Something great will come your way. Or do what i did. Delete than re-install. Later.....

My only complaint about MP is the same as any other - people with BR /DMR / snipers still beat me down with ease Other than that, I enjoy it.

It's seriously not overpowered >.>... A Turret or a Warthog Turret can tear the thing apart, It's not invincible.... It gets damaged easily with turrets.

 

Sooooo you got mad at a game because it wasn't giving you what you wanted huh lol that's dumb. You do realize that the drop rate for legendary engrams and actually getting one to turn out to still be a legendary is about .5%. Ya know what that means right
that means you need to farm farm farm. Also the Cryptarch is your best friend you want to rank that mofo up as high as you can and as much as you can because every time you get a new rank in the cryptarch you get a extremely nice present at the postmaster
as you found out. I am currently Level Light 28 and I am deck out with nothing but Legendry's and Exotics it took time but That's where I am at. Anyway glad to hear you gave it another chance I freaking love this game right now my only gripe is how insanely
hard the raid is but I will get past it eventually with the right team.

 

Well, congrats! Looks like you hit a Destiny jackpot there. Right now it seems I'm stuck in lvl 24 purgatory myself. I'm getting plenty of purple engrams, but they turn into weaker blue items every time I unlock them. It's frustrating, but I just can't
seem to stop grinding.

@Spud Yes, grinding/farming in this game, can be addicting. lol

 

This is part of the reason why this game annoys me. We have someone teetering on the brink of never playing this game again because of lack of loot dropping. The only thing that kept him playing was for the promise of better gear. That kinda stuff fails
to hold my attention.

I'm already worried about finishing the story missions as doing the same strike mission over and over and over sounds boring and tedious.

 

Dammit I just hit lvl 24...

 

See, where you find grinding for gear and guns boring and tedious, I find it addicting and challenging. I personally love doing *** like this. I find it more of a challenge than an annoyance. Add that to the fact that the devs keeping growing this game by
adding more content and challenges and I may never stop playing it. But, that's just me... this game's not for everyone.

 

The way I see it you get it what you put into it. I have been farming like a crazy man and I have 5 legendary weapons that I have kept I have destroyed a lot of others in order to get the components need to upgrade the ones I like 2 primary's, 1 special
and 2 heavy's I am also decked out in all legendary gear and have two Exotic helmets. I can't even tell you how many Uncommons and Rare's I have come across but lets put it this way I have close to a thousand weapons parts and about 900 plasteel plating so
yea a lot. If my farming sessions didn't really yield anything then yea i'd get a little *** and bored and probably stop playing but as long as I am getting uncommon, rare, legendary and exotics from them I'm going to keep doing it and enjoy it. Eggnogga next
time were both on hook up with me and I'll take you to my spot it might change your mind .
