i switch my xbox and don't remember the e-mail of my gamertag ??

how can i retake my gamertag on my new xbox if i have no clue on what the e-mail is ??( i'm on my older account )

Xbox Linked Account

Hello,

For whatever reason I have two linked xbox accounts. My original gamertag of ; which I don't use anymore. is associated with my current e-mail address. My current gamertag of is associated with a secondary e-mail address that
I don't really use. Is there a way I can switch, so that my current gamertag of is associated with my current e-mail, so I can 2FA with xbox and other games?

Xbox account roulette

My son created an xbox live account with his mom's e-mail. Then he got an e-mail account of his own. He created another gamertag with that account, but has never used it. Now my daughter is old enough to have her own gamertag, but can't use Mom's e-mail
because we can't switch her brother's to the e-mail he always uses. How do we do this? I won't create an e-mail account for my daughter. Easiest way to do this should be to delete the gamertag associated with the son's e-mail, and then switch his xbox live
account to HIS e-mail.

here. If you are saying that you don't remember what the e-mail address is,
this page walks you through finding it.

Yes, it is the same e-mail I used and I never changed it as far as I remember! It's the same e-mail I use as a Microsoft Account and to login to my gamertag!

Do I really have to create a whole new e-mail for this to be fixed? I just don't understand, why all the sudden the newsletter stopped coming?

So what you did was change the sign in e-mail, not the login e-mail. The log in e-mail still uses the old address. You can change his Microsoft Account using the steps here:

support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

However to do that you will need to use a different e-mail as you can't have 2 gamertags on the same e-mail.

alas, I do not. The e-mail I use was my first and primary. I could create another, but it'd be troublesome to remember the switch
