I suspect I've got bad internal storage

My issue started when I tried to Move game content from a fully successfully usable 2Tb WDC external USB3.0 drive to the internal storage on my XboxOneX. Move kept getting "installation stopped". So I uninstalled the game, which is Elder Scrolls Online
BTW, and attempted to reinstall it from the original disc (which doesn't seem to have any scratches, marks or crud on the disc. Again the "installation stopped" issue. I can resume, but it continues to stop every few hundred MB up to a Gigabyte of additional
installation. So after consulting the Xbox Support page online, I cleared local game storage in settings and got an E105 00000000 8007045D error on console restart. So after working this new issue for a while, I reset the console to factory defaults via
Microsoft Support instructions and re-setup the console. Again, the installation of ESO gets the same issue. I also cannot move COD: WWII from the external to the internal with the same issue. So now, after consulting the Support Website again, I remove
the external HDD from the equation and again clear local game storage. I now get an E202 8007000E 00000000 error on restart. I don't remember how I got around that one. Now I'm trying to install ESO with the console Offline and I'm getting the same issue
of "installation stopped" every few hundred MB of progress. Anybody got any input, suggestions or solutions? I'm planning to try the Offline Update next.

internal storage

xbox 360s wont recognize internal storage. went to settings then storage, says unformatted, tried to format nothing happens. tried to reset to default, then run setup, system update says not enough storage space. any help please.

My Xbox Slim 4 Go is too slow .. [After that add a new HDD of 320 Gb !!!!]

If you have the XBOX whit internal memory (4gb) you have no "problems", I know people who have the same HDD and the same problem...you can make a test: select an ARCADE game and move ir in to the internal storage (4gb) and check the loading time...the internal
storage usualy is more faster....

Oh, FYI, at some point I got an 0x8007045D error as the cause of the installation stopped, which seems to be "cannot download profile" which means that the Microsoft advice about "offline installation" is garbage? This is getting very frustrating for the
latest console which has only been in my home since 12/26/17. Hope somebody, especially MICROSOFT, can help me out here.

Oh, and another tidbit of info. When I tried to move COD: WWII and ESO, I could move small add-on items like the Carentan map and some of the Packs for ESO, but not the game itself. That's what makes me suspect the internal storage, or perhaps somebody
decided to spin down the internal storage because their SOOOO green, but didn't think how it would affect console behavior. I'm a little frustrated, if you can't tell.

Sounds like your hard drive did indeed die. You'll want to send it in to Microsoft for repair. It should still be in warranty, which for consoles is one year.

Hi Diego,

There is no error message (except when I try to download an update that I suspect is a consequence of this issue). Basically, when I go to the Storage menu, and go down to the Internal Storage, it says there are only 450 MB free of the 3 GB capacity (which
is normal - it was like that previously). However, when I click on Internal Storage, all the section say that 0.0 KB are being used, as if there was absolutely nothing in this storage space.

The internal storage is where my profile (console-only) and all my game files are stored. Hence, I cannot access them as I believe the files in the internal storage have been corrupted. I believe the update and subsequent error message when I try to do the
update come from all the previous updates having been corrupted from the internal storage.

I was wondering if this is a problem that has been encountered before and if there is any known solution to recover my game files.
