hi, I'm looking to appeal against an enforcement action which has resulted in my account being permanently banned. I have been punished for buying my games through the Xbox store as i can no longer access them. I received enforcement for "cheating" and found
out that this was a permanent account ban. I applied for a case review but talked about another incident that I believed was what the enforcement was about as this was the only thing that seemed possible. My case decision was upheld as i was "found guilty
of lending, transferring and using/distributing modded content. Ok, well this is the bit that i find hard to believe. My account is banned until 31/12/9999 because I jokingly said that i have minecraft mods on multiple occasions. So i have lost everything
because of this... I would like to defend myself by saying that the definition of attempt is to make an effort to achieve or complete something. It's not possible for me to achieve or complete something That I can't do. There is no evidence that i have been
involved with any modded content so this can be seen as proof that I can't do such things(on neutral ground here, no proof that i can or can't)Therefore i am not guilty . 7 years I've spent on xbox, throwing my money at it BUt look where that has got me. After
speaking to a helpful chat support employee, who was willing to back me up, i was told to create a forum post. My case ticket is 1399950391 and my gamertag is juckooluss

I have another account called "[mod removed: gamertag]" and it's got permanently banned for "inappropriate gamer tag" I know the new name is rude but everyone loves it, I go into a call of duty lobby and everyone is laughing and joking around. But now it's
been permanently banned I'm lost, I've lost everything all of my call of duty, all my saved games and now my dads credit card is on there? I'm begging you can you please unblock me and I will change my gamertag and it won't be rude, pleasepleaseplease unban

Account banned until 9999

I don't understand why my account, Corruptionis was permanently banned. Lost all my dlc that I bought over the 4 years I had my account. I don't use it that often but when I went to sign in it said I was banned for like 7000 years. Microsoft answer back.
Why am I banned?!

Submitting a case review is the only way to contact the enforcement team. So you would need to wait for their response. If they have upheld their decision, there is nothing else you can do. It doesn't matter if you were joking or not. The enforcement team
takes modding very seriously.

 

Me joking about it isn't the point. It's the fact that they have found me "guilty" of attempting something that I can't do and given me a 7000 year ban
