I stopped receiving Xbox live rewards

Hello, i was looking at my transactions on my account and i saw and remembered that i used to receive xbox live rewards but the last one i received was late 2014. I went to the xbox website to see if i needed to register again but i was still in it and one
of the promotions was to pre order the hottest games and i pre ordered most of the games that were on the list but i still have had nothing, am i doing something wrong?

It also helps if you can post the offers you're missing credits from. In order to receive credits, your purchases/actions have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

hi i have not been receiving my xbox live rewards since 3/12/14.is there a way you can fix this and i can get the points im owed thanks

 

I have stopped receiving points about a year ago do they ask you to update your info on the my rewards page?

 

no they just show my current points which is 0 its like nothing is registering when i buy stuff.

 

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates (preorders
do not count towards VIP).

For preordering the hottest games, the preorders have to be made through microsoftstore.com. Digital purchases do not count towards that offer.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at Xbox Live Rewards .

-or-

2. By earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders,
game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. In September 2015, we made some refinements to the program. One change that happened was an adjustment of MyVIP purchase thresholds.
If you did not reach any MyVIP ranks with your purchases from September 2014-August 31st 2015, you were placed at a default rank. Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress
at (Xbox Live Rewards).

Also something of note is that as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals.

The "Pre-order the Hottest Games" offer is for physical (disc) purchases off of MicrosoftStore.com, as Smwutches' says.
