    I still haven't gotten my Cyberpunk 2077 refund...


    I put in a refund request for Cyberpunk and it was denied, but a day later the refund policies for the game were changed ensuring full refunds for anyone who bought the game. I received a message from Xbox that stated I needed to respond to the email they
    sent me when the request was denied and in turn, I would be issued a refund for the game. Well it's been three days and I've still yet to hear back from that email. I figured I'd give them some time since I'm sure they're being bombarded with refund requests
    for that game, but it seems like I should have heard something at this point. When trying to contact Microsoft about the issue, the support page states phone calls and chats are unavailable for this specific issue (which makes no sense to me but that's beside
    the point). I sent a follow up email yesterday and still no response so coming to the forums really seems like my last line of communication with anyone. What can I do about this and how should I go about getting the refund I was promised?

    Hey Lo,

    By replying to the email you received Denying your Refund Request, it sounds like you've reopened the ticket. I would suggest just being patient at this point. It took me a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, mid-Sunday to receive the refund.

    E3 excitement!

    Cyberpunk 2077... hands down. I am confident this game will be incredible. Haven't been this excited since RDR2 and Skyrim before that.

    I appreciate the response. How long would you say is a reasonable waiting period if we're being conservative?

    I've previously refunded Cyberpunk 2077 and my money was returned in the same week.

    "It usually takes an average of 3 to 5 business days for refunds to reflect in your bank account, but this time period can vary by bank. However, it seems like a long time ago.

    If your refund was approved by Xbox and it's been more than a week, I recommend that you contact your bank directly and ask them if the problem is on their end. When Xbox approves a refund, it is automatically processed instantly, and the time it takes to arrive is usually because the bank takes a while to process the refund and sometimes issues can occur. Therefore, it would be good to clarify this directly with them."
