Thanks for the reply. I only see options to friend, favorite, or unfriend someone. Is there a specific way to unfollow and still keep them as a friend or do you mean unfriend?

Followers are people that have friended you while friends are people you have friended. People have different reasons for "unfriending"/"unfollowing" someone but I wouldn't focus on it too heavily.

IE) Perhaps you no longer play the game they main, haven't heard and/or talked to each out in while, etc. I've known a few people who have even "unfollowed" simply because they wanted to be the top of their leaderboard.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm still slightly confused on what exactly it is that you're talking about here.

Are you getting Service outage notifications from two years ago, or is something else going in and out of service?

If the latter is the case, it's probably not the same problem from 2 years ago as things change over time and there are teams that work hard to fix bugs whenever they pop up.

If you don't want to get Notifications from Service outages you can probably just mute/unfollow whatever source you're getting them from.

You even get the notification when you're not friends with them on xbox but still following them on mixer. You need to unfollow them there too

I gameshared with my one friend a few months ago and he decided to sign into xbox app with my account. I changed my password and he was kicked out of it, but he still receives notifications whenever I get a message or achievement. Is there anyway
I'm able to prevent him from getting notifications.
