I still can't change my xbox live account e-mail !!!

I've been using my previous primary email on my xbox live account but now I want to change it. Since my now primary email is linked to another account which I never used I wanted to change this, I created a new email to link on that account which I never
use and then link my primary email to my xbox live account. But now, everytime I try to change the email on my account which I never use it says "Sorry, we can't change your Microsoft account right now." I've been trying to call them on the international
number and my homelands number (I live in Belgium). Everytime they say their service is unavailable and its driving me crazy, I don't know what to do anymore. I hope one of you can help me with this extremely annoying problem.

Can you sign in Xbox live with a different E-mail account?

So, I have already an Xbox Live user and my E-mail account I used to sign in Xbox Live is about to close. Can I use a different E-mail account to sign in Live with the same user?

It's important, because I have all my achievements/ plus friends in this user and I cannot try it out, because I have not created another E-mail account, yet.

Changing WLID

I recently discovered that someone has information from my current E-mail, and I decided that I should create a safer E-mail address to use with my Xbox LIVE account. I made an e-mail that is not a live or hotmail account, but every time I try to change
my WLID to this e-mail it says that it is invalid. I get the e-mail and password right, but it still tells me that I can't change the WLID because the e-mail is "invalid" or "doesn't exist". I haven't changed my e-mail address since it was hacked, so I need
to get this solved soon. Is it possible to use a gmail account for my Xbox account?

I already called to the belgian and international number but both said that the service was unavailable. And why would I have to wait for 30 days ? That seems a little strange. And when I click your link I get this message

"social and gaming is currently unavailable.

Users may have problems with the following services:

Together with other members of Xbox Live online games

Accessing all game features

We are aware of the problem and are working on a solution. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience."

I really hope I don't have to wait for 30 days :/

Hi there Hornet, here are a few tips I can think of:

First off, try to remember the Email and Password of the old account.

If you cannot, go to account.live.com and click 'Can't access your account?'. I'm assuming since you want to change the e-mail to the old one, you can still access the e-mail.

Then, use a different e-mail that is not linked to a Windows LIVE ID (after you've completed the recovery steps) and set it to that.

Then, on your primary account (which you want to change to the old e-mail), just change it to your old e-mail, and that should be all

oh sorry i tough this site was dutch,

This is from my other post:

I made my xboxlive gamertag on my e-mail from school, now i left the school and they deleted my e-mail.

If i wanna change my e-mail, it says i need xboxlive, but if i want to buy xbox live, i need my e-mail. But i can't login onto my email because the school deleted mine.

How do i solve this problem?

So the problem is i can't change my mail with the "account" button. I've been looking trough the whole site for hours and couldn't find a solution.

So what you did was change the sign in e-mail, not the login e-mail. The log in e-mail still uses the old address. You can change his Microsoft Account using the steps here:

support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

However to do that you will need to use a different e-mail as you can't have 2 gamertags on the same e-mail.

I have to Change the Region.

I can't still add the E-Mail, but on this Accounts are not that important.

Hello, there's no way to delete a gamertag, the only thing you can do is change the e-mail on the gamertag to another e-mail. So what you'll have to do is change the e-mail on this account so the e-mail address is free to use on another account. To get instructions
on how to do this you can follow the directions on this page:
support.xbox.com/.../manage-live-id.aspx.
