I still am not able to play MCC multiplayer

Purchased MCC from the start. Live in a place with high speed internet so that's not a worry. Have removed and installed the game twice over the last couple of months. Every time I try to log into a multiplayer sessions it sits and sits looking for other
players. I thought they resolved this in March/April - but not for me. Anyone else having this problem still or does anyone have advice on what to do? I purchased this just for multiplayer and feel pretty ripped off.

All other multiplayer games working good (Battlefield, Call of Duty, Titanfall)

not able to play multiplayer

One day i can play multiplayer and then there are days where i can't join games and no one can join mine however it states that my multiplayer connection is fine as is my network connection. I've also had the ports that needed to be open opened. what else
could this be??

Map Recommendations for 1st time with Halo MP?

I did play through the Halo series until this year, so I missed the Golden Age of Halo multiplayer. That said, when I get install Halo MCC in a couple of days, I will want to try out MP. Would Halo 2 be the best play to start with multiplayer?

*note* I'm prepared to be owned by experienced players who will know moves and tricks that I don't have a clue about. Hopefully I can still have fun online, though.

I really haven't had this problem too much. When it does start taking too long I restart the search. There are a lot of players still having this problem though. Good internet connection or not. I believe a lot of it has to do with the populations drop,
and which playlist you are searching.

I get matches pretty fast, no matter what time of day, in the Halo 4 playlist. You are not the only one who feels ripped off, but there are good times to be had. The campaigns are nice to play all in a row, and when you get good games one after another it
starts to get fun. Don't give up.

I have the same problem with MCC anti cheat coming up and not letting me play. I have a new lap top running windows 11. I also had this problem on another new laptop running windows 10, I am not able to play any of the multiplayer games in the Mcc. I am able to play the single player maps but when it comes to multiplayer I cannot play.

I was able to play at one time on windows 10 with my old laptop but i did not have steam downloaded or running on my laptop. This one and my last laptop had steam downloaded with games open but they were closed at the time of downloading and trying to play the game.

There are two options when you start the Mcc in multiplayer one to play the second to play with anti cheat running, i have tried both and they do not let me the anti cheat keeps coming up I am wondering if anyone else also has two options to pick from? Is Mcc the only halo game that this comes up on, or does it also come up on all the halo games?

If I was to delete steam would the problem, go away?

In both cases i have deleted the Mcc and have not reinstall it back to my laptop. With my new laptop I was surprised to see the error again.

I also have the Xbox pass running windows 11 the laptop is only 3 weeks old

I would appreciate any help someone can give me to help solve this problem without deleting steam and the games I have on it.

Are you able to log in to Xbox Live before playing MCC? Do any other Xbox Live games work, or are you only having the issue with MCC specifically?
