    I couldn't afford a 3 month Xbox live card and they didn't have any 1 month Xbox live cards so thank you Xbox for screwing me over once again. Now I'm definitely getting a PS4

    XBOX Live Gift Cards

    There’s Xbox gift cards, which can be spent on anything in the store, and then there are Xbox Live subscription cards. If you bought a card specifically for Gold, then it’s just for that. I would go back to the store and exchange it for Xbox gift cards.

    This cannot be used for subscriptions

    Sorry to say but if the store didn't have 1monthly cards that's not on Ms

    That's on them

    You could've easily have bought it on the console or any etailer in your region

    There is xbox live game pass gift cards same with xbox live gold gift cards. Currency gift cards can't really play for subscription payments.
