I spend thousands with you guys yet i get banned for freedom of speech.

No further explanation just remove my ban and start banning people for cheating instead of name calling. So either unban my account or refund half of my games since i cant enjoy them.

Freedom of speech is the ability to say whatever you want. Not the ability to say what you want until someone is offended, then switch the definition of such freedom to suit your needs. That isn't freedom of speech, clearly you don't have a grasp on the concept of it. There is a reason why hate speech isn't a real thing but freedom of speech is.

I'm not trashing the console either, no beef with the Xbox one. It's just baffling they will ban you over nothing after you sink hundreds if not thousands of dollars into games on their platform. Doesn't seem like a great way to make people come to your platform, spend money etc. They should be going after cheaters, underage children playing M games etc. not spending resources busting down people saying fuck off. Lol

So basically YOU ARE ALLOWED FREEDOM OF SPEECH as long as it follows the code of conduct.

You CAN say what you like as long as it follows the code of conduct.

You can say what you like and freedom of speech, as long as it follows the code of conduct.

If we couldnt do any othat, then its just as bad as reading of a script.

People are implying we have no freedom of speech. Thats incorrect to a degree..... since we dont need scripts.

People can exercise freedom of speech while still obeying the coc. People can exercise a degree of freedom of speech since we dont need to read off a script. Some people can have freedom of speech as they can control and refrain or dont say bad words which
arent allowed in coc. This is the kind of freedom of speech that IS allowed. Its not reading off a script so that is classed as exercising your right to speech. Yet at the same time your arent swearing and other stuff in the coc that is not allowed. I have
been exercising that for at least 6 years this kind of freedom of speech. And believe it or not, this does not qualify for a ban.

Peoples PERCEPTION of ms and freedom of speech. Ms has their own code of ethics which prevents them from unjustly penalising others.

I rest my case XD. Just pointing out freedom of speech applies..... as long as it follows the coc. if freedom of speech didnt apply, youd have to read off a script since you cant say what you want to say. People can say words without any bad stuff. Its just
easier for some than others. No where in their tos or coc does it say you have no freedom of speech.

Even though you pay for the service, you also agree to the rules in order to use it. If you violate those rules, you can be punished. Freedom of speech does not apply.

The
U.S. Constitution covers only what the U.S. Government can and cannot do. The First Amendment - Freedom of Speech - specifically says "Congress
shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Microsoft is a private company which can enforce it's own usage rules for the services the company offer.

When you run into users breaking the code of conduct, report them through your console. Do not engage them, block and mute the users, then move on. More information can be found

Okay so how come i cant get ahold of anybody for a chance to unban my account i feel as thats undermining to me when most employess hide and duck to hear out anybody who was reported. It doesnt matter anyways cause you guys can do whatever you want to whoever
with no repercussion. Want to make a change actually make a number for people compliants instead of going through all of these unnecessary steps to get a email back its absurd.

 

Fair enough but why ban when they can restrict my communacations why jump the gun and ban i find it unfair.
